Biography:
Artem Neretin, 24, was born and currently lives in Russia. He received his Bachelors Degree from the Product Design Department at the Ural State Academy of Architecture and Arts, Ekaterinburg, Russia in 2002. He received his Masters Degree in MA 3D Digital Design from the University of Huddersfield, Huddersfield, Great Britain in 2004. And now he is currently a student of Transport Design at the Ural State Academy.
His design experience includes working as an exterior designer for an A-level motor company in Moscow, Russia and producing web design and illustrations for magazines for Oversite Group in Ekaterinburg, Russia.
Neretin has participated in numerous design competitions including the Nagoya Design DO!, the 4th and 5th Mitsubishi Motors Design competition and other car magazine design competitions. Within these competitions he has received a few awards including a special prize by Oliver Boulay in the 4th Mitsubishi competition, a certificate of participation in the International Exhibition ‘Claude-Nicolas Ledoux and a second place in the international competition for the best drawing for USAAA. In addition, Neretin was named as a top student designer in Russia by an automotive design magazine in Russia.
Description:
“Bach”, a new Audi two-seater sports vehicle. Neretin created the design to showcase a new vehicle for the 24 Hours of Le Mans that provides a new brand of design philosophy for Audi with the particular comprehension of shape, which is always very functional and simple (German philosophy of design).
