Byung Kang Cho, from South Korea, is currently pursuing a Master of Arts Degree in Automotive Design at Coventry University in England. In July 2003, he received a BA Honors Degree in Transport Design from Coventry University after completing a BA Degree in Industrial Design from Keimyung University in South Korea.

From 1993, Cho has competed in numerous design competitions and has been selected as a winner a number of times including the Armstrong Siddeley project.

He is proficient in all forms of designing including sketching, clay modeling and three dimension drawings. His interests include reading books, listening to music, watching movies and traveling.


The relationship between car buyer who wants variety choice and brand value and car maker who wants reducing production cost and keeping market share, Golf GTI for young Generation is formed new way of platform sharing. Such as keeping GTI’s sporty, aggressive and strong body image, at the same time its chassis and some bodywork can be used its family models which are rather not sporty looking.
