Biography:
Wu Haocong, 22, was born in Guangdong Province of China. He is currently a senior student at the Wuhan University of Technology majoring in automobile engineering. He is expected to graduate with a bachelors’ degree next year.
An avid automobile fan, he spends most of his free time studying car design. He is also proficient in design software including 3dmax, catia, rhino and photoshop. With support from his parents, friends and professors he was able to be chosen as a finalist for the 2006 Michelin Challenge Design.
Description:
The environment-protecting electric notional car in new age Fly is an environment-protecting electric car which brings no pollution and low noises. Fly adopts streamline design which can decrease the wind resistance greatly. The most important thing is that Fly adopts changeable thruster so that it can solve the problem that the electric car can not be use when it is under charging. The exchange station (which is also called the gas station or the service station) will spread all the city and road, thruster with full power can be got at any time and any place. We just need to buy the seats so that we can lower the cost. The exchange station will also resolve the trouble of engines’ maintain at the same time which is convenient and speedily.
Fly is not only a solo-driving car; it can become a double car only if the joint be attached to the thruster. The computer CMOS chip of attachment will decide which seat is controller. The video display in car will offer the face to face communication between the passengers.
Because Fly is an environment-protecting electric car, adopt the little flat rate tire P185/60R14 in my design. The material of tire was adopted the silicon and rubber, reduce the obstruction of rolling; reduce the consumption of the energy and the load of the electrical machinery. There is a pressure-detector which is connecting with the air-pump in each tire. When the atmospheric-pressure of tire is not ample or the tire was bomb, the pressure-detector will send out signal to the air pump, and make the tire has a steady atmospheric-pressure at any time. Meanwhile, the pressure-detector can keep the atmospheric-pressure of tire in a suitable condition according to different road surface. And this solution can reduce the consumption of the energy and keep the drive safe.
The most important thing is FLY has important function on the settlement of the energy and traffic jam problem of California. Fly is an environment-protecting electric car which brings no pollution and low noises. It can solve the pollution problem which is caused by the automobile fume in California. Fly adopts streamline design which can decrease the wind resistance greatly. In order to reduce the consumption of the energy, the automobile body adopts new materials to reduce the automobile body weight. So Fly is very suitable for California in which the consumption of energy is very high. In addition, because the traffic jam is very serious in U.S.A, my design is a solo-driving car. It can reduce the number of traffic jam. Fly adopts changeable thruster so that it can solve the problem that the electric car can not be use when it is under charging. The exchange station will spread all the road of California, thruster with full power can be got at any time and any place.
