Seong-Gu Colin Han, 27, was born in South Korea and immigrated to Canada in 1996. After graduating from high school, he went to the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design (Vancouver) and had the opportunity to explore and widen his knowledge of art and design. During this time, he also worked at Fusion Wired, Inc., a communication design group in Vancouver as a graphic designer.

However, his long-standing passion for industrial design led him to Korea, a country that plays a major roll in the world’s design industry. In 2004, he was able to pursuit his passion for industrial design at Kookmin University (Seoul, South Korea) and joined a transportation design study group. His experience in this transportation study group has led him to fall in love with car sketches and renderings. In the past four years, he has pushed himself to improve those skills necessary to become a car designer and now in his last year at the university, he wishes to pursue his dream of becoming an Automotive Designer.

Veil is a mid-ship sports coupe that has two very distinctive styles combined into a single vehicle – a Sports Coupe and a F1 Racer. Inspired by a silky fabric or a veil, the front to middle portion of the body is stylized in modern and urban sense. Its sleek, smooth surface and natural lines create an elegant volume for the vehicle. The rear portion features a design language of Formula 1. The structure is very complex and futuristic and consists of various mechanical elements. These characteristics add an extreme sports theme to the vehicle providing an enhanced performance in speed driving.
