Description

Our system project allows to implement the most simple, economical, and safest way of the future comprehensive settlement and development of the north and tundra of Russia, taking into account retaining of nature and careful attitude to it. In the project we have tried to solve the design, ergonomic and aesthetic problems to ensure a comfortable working conditions with our transport, and preservation of Nature. Our transport will open new opportunities for people in the future, living in the Yamal and other similar in climate and nature places on our planet

We present a design of a system of vehicles for Yamalo-Nenets region of Russia. This is a region where we live.

Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District is located in the arctic and sub arctic zone of Western Siberia and is, in fact, tundra. Our tundra – is Boundless plains, thickly spotted by lakes and swamps in the summer, and snow-covered wilderness in the winter.

Locals: Nenets, Khanty, Mansi are nomadic and move around on sledges (sleds) harnessed to the reindeer. Travelers ‘civilized’ people move on snowmobiles in the winter and ATVs in the summer.

Despite the fact that our region is rich in resources and is actively developing its land transport system is virtually absent.

We did not design an individual vehicle, because there are already quite a lot of analogs of machinery like that with solved design, ergonomic and aesthetic problems . We conducted a study and formulated a project concept based on the conclusions.

Any wild land, sooner or later will comprehensively mastered. Development of the Russian north, the Russian tundra – is inevitable in today’s specificity of global progress.

The first stages of development should be a transitional stage should be possible to smooth the process of embedding of humans activity to the north. On this basis, the projected transportation system must functionally and aesthetically represent a new step in technology, keeping the interests and needs of indigenous people, interacting with nature, preserving the ecology and soil.

As to the purpose of vehicles, their specialization, we decided to rely on research which indicates that the most important and urgent are trucks and rescue vehicles. With trucks ground transport we will bring in resources, and with rescue vehicles will rescue people, because the nature of the tundra is very dangerous to humans.

In the design process we have identified and taken into account the following design requirements, which depend on the specifics of the North. Choosing the style of the exterior solution, we took into account that the atypical working conditions of people working with our machinery (the northern environment, limited physical capabilities, limited freedom of action) have a great effect on emotional state. Therefore, the aesthetic quality of forms of the designed equipment keep positive psychological state of a person for a long time. The design of our machines are not aggressive, but friendly, prepossessing, showing a desire to operate the machines for a long time. Shape of transport is tectonic, creates a feeling of reliability and security.

Design should unite transport and its habitat. What we are also taken into account.

A cargo vehicle structurally has a sliding portal scheme with tracked drives fixed on the side planes. In general, the truck is a power portal module, capable to move as a single traffic unit, and in conjugation with the cab or in a part of the same module. On the side planes of the portal diesel generator, fuel tanks, hydraulic units with a compressor are fixed, a sliding camera door for convenient access to the power components. The generator generates electricity for the motor-wheel, which is fixed onto the track carriage. The advantage of portal configuration is that the truck has an opportunity to make loading and unloading of containers and other cargoes with standard mounting designs, and the module in isolation can be used as a mobile crane.
Portal is able to transform itself for the possibility of fixing on it and transporting of maritime containers.

Managing of the portal is carried out remotely via the console, control element in the portal, or by the crew of suspension-type cabin, which is as part of the cargo is attached to the upper plane of the portal.

The cargo is attached to the portal, as well as the cabin.
Structurally it is possible to link several modules for transporting oversize cargoes.

Track-type truck with the ability to rotate 180 degrees around its axis can reduce or increase the size of the portal, increasing its walkable opportunities as needed. Folded tracks allow to transport a portal on the railway platform.
