In 2045 the car industry will be divided in 2 different ways. Will be design for people who need to get from some point to another and for people who enjoy driving; the drive experience is one of the most important reasons why the automobiles are so popular these days. The Exodus is the opposite idea of a Autonomous Vehicles that will be an extension of an environment like their home or office, this concept is for people who want to get fun while driving in the city.

The Exodus responds to the needs of personal mobility into the city of Shanghai, based in shapes of nature, been ecological without sacrifice the passion of personal vehicles and genuine harmony between vehicles and their environments, the drive experience or the joy to drive.

What makes your design unique?

In order to generate an ecological solution, was inspired by the organic shapes of Animals, fluid, elegance and minimal shapes.

The Exodus was inspired by some bioluminescent life forms that use their own light to communicate into the deep sea. The concept uses this light to get connected with the environment; this light allows sending messages to other vehicles and also creating a new way of customizing the car’s body.

What technologies, innovations, lifestyle needs and concepts have you incorporated into your design? How?

Ecological concept
To maximize the use of fuel energy, Exodus’ body was designed to have great aerodynamics; with less air resistance and a lighter weight, less energy is going to be expended.

Tire design
The Michelin Active Wheel 2045 has an airless tire made with compressed polymers with an internal reinforcement structure. The tires are covered with rubber to resist asphalt and high speeds.

Body construction
The body car is made of Thermoplastic Composite Materials. These new material are tougher, lighter, stiffer and have an infinite shelf life, can be recycled and a better performance during collisions, they are suited for a highly demanding environment.
