A. | Movin’On, the worlds’ premier gathering for sustainable mobility has made Challenge Design an official pillar of the Movin’On ecosystem. This has been done in recognition of the power of design and the creative mindset in focused on solving complex problems through a deep understanding of human needs and the future of sustainable mobility. |

Q. | Who is eligible? |
A. | Anyone interested in future mobility is eligible to enter. Entries come from all over the world and include individuals and teams of transportation and mobility designers, including OEMs and suppliers, studios, design schools, students, teachers, artists, architects, engineers, and futurists. A. | The themes are chosen by the Movin’On Challenge Design steering team and jurors in consultation with Movin’On organizers. |

Q. | What is the theme for the 2021 Movin’On Challenge Design? |
A. | RESPECT, ending isolation and conquering the mobility divide.
Age and disability can limit access to safe and affordable mobility for one of every four people in the world today, reducing joy and the ability to fully participate in, benefit from, and contribute to society. The 2021 Movin’On challenge to entrants is to design a future with truly inclusive access to mobility, a future that breaks down barriers and increases the personal well-being and respect for all people. |

A. | The 2021 Movin’On Challenge will be announced August 11, 2020. The opportunity to submit entries will begin November 1, 2020, and close on March 1, 2021. |

Q. | What will jurors be looking for? |
A. | Your design story should visually communicate how your entry addresses the theme of RESPECT and ending isolation and the mobility divide for those facing age and disability related barriers to sustainable mobility.
Challenge Design jurors encourage entrants to have their entry tell a design story.

Q. | Why is the Jury so important? |
A. | Movin’On Challenge Design has become one of the most prestigious global design competitions thanks in part to its jury members, who are often the advanced design leaders for major mobility producers, now joined by experts from the global sustainable mobility community. |

Q. | What are the prizes? |
A. | The three winning entries and the recipients of Judges’ Awards are announced in a global communications release. Their entries are featured on the Movin’On Challenge Design site and related communications.
One representative from each of the three winning entries winners is invited as a guest of the organizers to the Movin’On Summit, a premier global summit on sustainable mobility. Travel and registrations for Movin’On are provided by the organizers. The 2021 Summit will be held in Montreal, June 1-3, 2021. At Movin’On, the winning works are displayed, and the winners are invited to participate in the Summit. Their entries are recognized at a special Movin’On Challenge Design reception. The winners are also invited to participate in a review of their design portfolios by members of the jury and leading international designers or experts. |
